Major problem with Goldwave fixing a sync problem AVI->SV

Hi,
I have been having a major problem with Goldwave. I have been doing Div-x to SVCD conversion and have seperate audio and video files. I have been having sync problems after encoding and have narrowed the problem down to the fact the audio is running slower then the video stream. So I have been trying to use Goldwaves Time Warp effect to increase the speed so it equals with the video. But whenever I do this it ill reach about 13% done and I will get a error message saying "Error- Could not write to file. No Storage available or device not ready". I'm sure I have enough HD space as I have 1.8 gigs on E: drive which is where Goldwave is installed. Unless it uses C: drive with which I have only 200mb but i assume it will use the drive with which the program is installed in. Any help would be greatly appreciated and i know if I can fix this I will also fix the sync problem.
