Hello all,
First post here and I hope it's in the right forum. I've had this problem numerous times on videos I've downloaded and have just blown it off to not having the right codec. But now I've had it happen to a video I ripped from a dvd. I used DVDPro EX to rip a 1hr 47min. video to SVCD. The rip was successful, everything looks and sounds great... but when I play the video, the progress timer at the bottom of WMP or Media Player Classic only shows 20 mins for the total time. If I play the video without moving the timer, it gets to the end of the slider in 20mins but the video keeps playing, clicking on the slider takes me to the appropriate place in the video (halfway across the slider is halfway through the video). Anyone know what happened? I'm really new to this and would love to fix this problem. Thanks.
