tmpgenc w/dvd author help

I was just wondering if I purchased the combo pack with the dvd author and the encoder will I get a serial to unlock both or will I get a special link to the download.reason I ask is because theres nowhere to put a serial or register tmpgenc encoder. Any help would be appreciated..I just wanna make sure before i buy.
