Nero 6.3.0.2 Question

hi there


i have a few questions about the new Nero

1. In nero burning rom, when you choose to record a dvd-rom(iso) in the burn dialog there is a option that you can check "book type dvd rom"?
what's that for?


2. in dvd-video in previous version i was able to write in the joliet field.
why cant now?

1. BEcause when your burning a data DVD is should be in that book type, nero is pretty much just letting you know.

2. Not 100%but I'd assume because its not part of the DVD video spec and therefore they turned it off.

I'm sure I had some staggeringly good point when I typed that, but looking at it now I have no earthly idea what I was trying to say.

Basicly book type has to do with the type of disc, like with CDrs, data is usually a specific booktype, and CD audio is is own book type. I don't think there is a reason to change it. Actually with my nero under DVD (ISO) I don't see a place to change book type at all. And have no idea why you would want to do so.

its apears in the new version of nero (6.3.0.2) it dosent appear in the older ones that i have..

in the new version 6.3.0.3 this feature it still disabled!
