    I think Panasonic does it on purpose to show the world how "slow" is DVD+ format.

    Panasonic never supported competing format's max speed that is faster than the DVD-RAM max speed. I may be mistaken, but aren't the Panasonic DVD Multi burners only have 1x DVD-RW support even though DVD-RW is now at 2x?
