You don't select files and burn vob's with DVD Decrypter.
You rip DVD's or make ISO copies with it.
If you are wanting specific sections of a commercial DVD, try this....
Rip with DVD Decrypter in FILE mode, and in the settings make sure "all files" is selected. Once it's ripped, then edit it using DVD Shrink to locate and remove any sections u don't want. Then you can burn what u desire using whatever DVD burning software you have.
To speed up the rip rate, there are a couple of things u might try...
1) Are u using your burner to rip with? Most burners are set by the manufacturer to rip at only 1x or 2x. Get a seperate ROM drive to rip DVD's. Hardly anyone who backs up DVD's much uses their burner for anything but burning. Also, if your ripping drive is on the same IDE as your HD, it'll go slooooow.
2) Update the firmware on the drive yer ripping with, and make sure you are using the latest ASPI drivers available.
3) Make sure u have at least 15GB of defragged HD space before you even start thinking about ripping DVD's.
My 2 cents
