  4. I had an experience like you Redman66. One of my lightbulbs went out and I changed it. I turned off the power by switching off the lights in the fuse box and then proceeded to ground myself while taking the old one out and then replaced it with a fresh one and turned the fuse box back on.

Wonder if I did this properly?

i had a similar experience one time. the light bulb in my lamp went out. i couldnt really figure out why. i searched online but i didnt find any how-to's or anyone with my same problem. so i took matters into my own hands and went to this place, i think it was called a hardware store. anyway, they told me to buy another light bulb and try to replace the old one. so i got home, turned off the light switch, and, here is the key, i TWISTED the old bulb out. and then twisted the new one in. i think the twisting action was the key to my success.

  6. Did you have to twist them the same way taking the bulb out and in or are they different directions.....cause when I did mine i had to go opposite ways.

I think the problem lies within cheap bulbs. You get what you pay for. Try upgrading to a more reliable bulb.

    Zero.

The bulb never blew, the power just went out. Luckily for us the backup UPS kicked in.

  9. Now this is a good post. This gets printed and put in a frame, right next to Will Hay's discourse on starting his own business.

    Nice one, sitlet.

    BTW: You forgot one:

2 people to explain the problem is related to shit media.
