  1. I am looking for a nice program to cut mpeg files by time, filesize, or both. I tried DVTool but it didnt work for me, so I'm looking for another program. Any suggestions?

I am looking at making a tool to do exactly this easily. I'll be starting a different thread subject though, look for it. Haven't found a good tool to do this that is free for use, even the stuff that came with my drive and encodes has terrible editing capabilities. That's why I'm going to make something simple if I don't find a free one that everyone can use.

It seems the way to go by time is the Merge & Cut function in TMPGEnc, as it does not re-encode the video. Select File-->MPEG Tools...-->Merge & Cut to get to the procedure. The guide is under the Edit section at left.
    Hello.
