can't delete my post?

I double-posted by accident (went back to edit my post, but the edited version came up as a second post).

How come I can't delete the first one?

Only moderators and admin can delete posts, ordinary users can't.

If you double post (i.e. two threads, not two posts in one thread) then bring it to the attention of a mod and we'll delete it but if its just a second accidental post in the same thread then just edit it yourself to something like "Ignore this message".
