    Sometimes when I download video clips and play them back in media player the time will say for example 30sec for a 400 meg clip and everytime I rewind it will play different information over the same parts. It seems like a 20 minute clip has been compacted into a 30 second clip. When I put it on a VCD it will stay at 30 seconds. Is there a way to extract the info.

    I ran it, but it says it doesn't support mpegs. Sorry I didn't mention they were mpg files to begin with.
