Hi,
After registering last week and upgrading to the full version I am having terrible issues with audio not syncing correctly.
I thought I would try the "Skip resample step" option and although these do play in my DVD player it does not fix the syncing problem.
I then looked at the files being created whilst SVCD2DVD is running and it it still demuxing (i.e. creating a separate audio file and video file), skipping the resample stage and then recombining them?
If the sound is not being changed why is the demux and combining still required?
Can't the VOB be created directly from the original MPG file? I realise this may not create a fully compliant DVDs/VOBs but it may sort out the syncing issues if the original MPG is not split and then recombined?
If this may work an option to do this within SVCD2DVD would be great? Alternatively could I manually do this myself with a menu *without* reencoding?
Thanks
Paul.

mpgs need to be demuxed because the structure has to change. Navigation packets need to be added in order to produce an mpg which can be authored for DVD.
Have a look at:
