Can anybody tell me where I can find my current firmware version for a Lite-On 411S and if there are any reasons why I should not upgrade to FSOH

Hi Parsons

Sorry i should have made myself clearer. I am trying to find out where to go on my PC to find out what version my burner is at currently. I only brought it yesterday so I am trying to find out what I am on and also I will be able to see if the firmware upgrade has taken properly

I have discovered that I am on firmware version FSO5 which looks very old to me. I downloaded the latest FSOH from the lite-on website but when I run the exe it tells me that this update is only for the Lite-On DVDRW 411S.....which is exactly what I have. Is this because I am trying to jump to many upgrades at once?? Do I need to do some intermediate update version??
