Now with new DVDShrink version 3.1 out:
Which would you use, Recode 2 or Shrink 3.1? Ignore the fact that one you have to pay for and that recode cant do copy protected disks. Just quality/speed-wise.

Same author both are good. quality the same it uses the same engine.
I choose Shrink simply because it Decrypts and burns all in one. -
Recode 2 has my vote, for two main reasons.
#1: In Recode you can "Disable" a title by replacing it with a blank screen, which results in a much smaller file.
#2: I like the user interface of Recode better. I find the recode layout easier to work with.
Speed/Quality wise they seem the same to me.
I never use the decrypting function of shrink anyway so that wasn't even an issue.
