  1. Ok Ive tried reading other messages to make sure this wasnt asked before but I am yet to find an answer to my question so here it goes---

Every now and then I have audio sync problems with TMPGenc ---

Now this happens about 1 in 3 DVDS that I create... WHY?

I always use nandub to rip the audio to WAV format then let TMPGenc use the AVI for video and the WAV for audio ...

i always set it to CBR MPEG-Layer II Audio (mp2)

    is that my problem?

CBR encoding isn't the problem, usually it's the source.

Bad frames tops the list, then AC3 or VBR audio can introduce audio delays. Delete bad frames (link below) and Virtualdub under audio>interleaving>audio delay can fix delay problems. TMPGEnc can fix delays as well in the source range window.
