  1. I have an SVCD as an image...I think...it contains many sequential files with the extension .001, .002, .003 etc. and an .sfv file. The sequential files are all equal in size.

Any ideas which program I use to convert/burn the SVCD?

  2. My guess is they are RAR files with an incorrect extension .001 instead of .r01, etc.

SFV appears to be a CRC checker for concantenated multi-volume file downloads. I would guess that the SFV file may be there as a check file similar to an MD5 checksum.

Try renaming the files to the appropriate extensions for RAR and then use WinRAR to extract. What you do after that to convert/author/burn depends on the file type after extraction.
