Showbiz VCD's??

Hey everybody,do any of you guys know how to create a VCD using Arcsoft Showbiz? I tried using format 'Video CD disc' and file type 'Mpeg1' but when i burned it,it didn't work on my Bush 2023 player! Would it be better to get DVD-R instead to add mpegs 2 and watch on my DVD player? I'm using CD-R,other formats or file types did not work on my DVD player! Although could it be the fact that i used CD-R vinyl? Please help! How the hell do i use Showbiz?
