    Which one should i get? Price is not an issue. I want to use it for CD burning,encoding,playing games,multimedia stuff,playing dvds and surfing the net.
    My machine is a 733 P3 256mb ram and currently running Windows ME

    home edition. pro is better, but you dont need it

    For what you want it for, get Home edition. However, if you are thinking about upgrading to dual CPUs in the future, then get Pro.
