what would be the best bitrate option for encoding a 2 hour movie onto 2 cd's while keeping a the best quality. I mean bitrate option in terms of CBR VBR CQ Multipasses etc. I have been using the CQ setting with TMPGEnc using AVI2SVCD but my disk space will not allow the CQ setting suggested after the CQ test. i have to run the CQ test first and then see what the projected file size will be then set a set CQ setting accordingly. is there a better way to do this?
is there a CQ calculator?
