OK, I've made a little droplet converter to extract .pdi disk images made on the PC to .iso images the Mac can work with. This is based on pdixtract, part of PDITool, which is distributed by InstantCopy, I believe, as open source. You can grab your very own copy here. Use it by simply dragging .pdi files onto the app icon, which will prompt you to choose an output folder and name the iso image.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

Oh yeah, and I've never tested this, so if someone has a .pdi file handy, could you let me know if this works? Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's working ok, it's just that I don't have any .pdi files to be 100% certain. It should pass on the processing to the terminal, and convert the image there.

OK, I've put a spiffy icon on pdi2iso and put some brief instructions with it. I guess since no one here has .pdi files to test with, I'll just post straight to VT, and see what the flood of bug reports brings. There's a known bug by which if there's a space in the path to this application (like the disk name or any of the folder names leading to this application), it will not work. The new version is here:

  4. hahahaha....you're really going all out on these pdis! If I still have my pdi files I'd test it out.

If you have a PC you could *ahem* download InstantCopy and create pdi images, then test your droplet.

I don't, so I can't. I just saw that there were no (GUI) PDI conversion utils for the Mac, and thought it would a good learning experience to try and make something. It was a pretty simple project, and I haven't gotten any complaints yet on the VersionTracker page for it, so I assume it's working.
