Thank you so much. Any other way? Should I use Dvdmestro thing or tmpgenc dvd author?
-
I haven't used either, so I can't comment on either.
Hello. -
getting it in ifo edit. I use tmpg and do that simple deflex, the the .m1v and renamed .mp2 to mpa, then use besweat to change the audio to 48k, then open it with ifo edit but then it give me the error. The file is vcd, not svcd. Is there other more simple way to put the vcd on dvd???

Thank you so much for helping, but I really dont want to reencode, just too long. I will try to see what else I can find here or other ways. Any other simple ways

You don't have to re-encode the video, all you have to do is give your audio a 48khz frequency <--- this is DVD standard, but your VCD's audio is 44kHZ.
Once you have your seperate .m1v's and mp2's, start up Tmpgenc load your audio into it using the audio tab at the bottom, then using the settings tab put the freq to 48khz, then just hit the start button at the top.
To author them to DVD, you could use DVDlab, DVD Maestro, Ulead DVD Movie Factory etc....
Another way would be to put all the Bin/Cue files is thats what the are into 1 folder, then download SVCD2DVD, it will do all the video and audio demultiplexing as well as audio conversion.I Have Always Been Here

Thank you so much...I will give those a try also, if dont' work, I think I will just go buy another dvd player that will support an vcd iso dvd
Thanks

I use Dazzle DVD Complete. Have used on over a few dozen movies. Works GREAT!

Ok...I finally got it figure out with TMPGEnc DVD Author and it works great. But I notice that there is a very very unnoticeable small loss in video quality when it's on the dvd, is this normal? Is there or what is the best loss less vcd to dvd conversion software? I dont' mean reencode, I mean just dealing with converting the 44-48K sound. Thanks.

Probably the best way is to convert your 44khz mp2 to a .wav, then back again to 48khz mp2.
If you want you could always use a normalizer on the wav file to increase the sound before you convert the audio back to mp2.
Something Besweet should be able to handle this, or alternatively just use the Windows Sound Recorder on the wav file to increase the volume a little.
But bewarned, don't increase it to much.I Have Always Been Here

Thanks...what is the best for this, I really dont' want to lose any quality in video. I dont' care about the audio, as long that I can change to 48k for compatibility I dont mind, but I do see a tiny bit very unoticealbe in video quality when I use tmpgenc dvd author to do this conversion.

For myself when i used to put VCD's onto DVD, i used DVD Maestro, sometimes though when importing them into it it would come up with errors to do with the audio.
I think your best bet would be to use DVD movie Factory, there' s guide here on this site that will tell you how to do it, of course all your audio will have to be 48khz.
Although if you say you where able to it with TMPEGnc DVD Author then i would continue to use it.
As far as the quality loss, to tell you the truth if there is i've not noticed it when i done my authors.I Have Always Been Here
