I am capturing in MPG2 with mpa and burning to DVD without the need to render.

I have noticed that I am getting horizontal noise lines in the video during loud audio passages. The record level is not peaking at all in the red but could that still be too much and be the cause?

Why is this happening and why does the audio affect the video?
