    Of these programs: Video Studio 6, Sonic My DVD, Ulead DVD Movie Factory,MGI Videowave 4, Ulead Media Studio 6, and Pinnacle Studio 8, which do you think is the best to capture from a DV camcorder, edit the clips, make into a movie, and then to DVD? I would like to be able to capture at the best quality. I would also like to be able to edit clips to take out the un-wanted video.

    If it's a DV camcorder then you can "capture" using just about any program as it's a straight transfer of digital data from tape to disk and nothing is lost.

    ametsman, you need to update your research. There are newer versions of sofware that you listed.
    Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)
