Using DvdXCopy, burned a movie onto DVD+RW disk ( media bought from Makro - brand is Mr DVD Strand Europe Ltd ) and it plays perfectly on my PC.

But put it into my LG 4750 and it isn't recognised ... "Check Disk" error is displayed.

Player compatibility says player should play any DVD format.

Is this a media problem ? Would DVD-RW be better ( I chose RW, cos I knew it would take a few attempts to get it right and I didn't want to make expensive coasters ! )

Anyone else got a LG 4750 ? What's the best brand of media to use for these ?
