This seems pretty time comsuming and complicated. If you want to spend the money, try the following Pal to NTSC or vice versa software www.focusinfo.com/products/firestore/dvconversionsuite/dvcsuite.html

I am fairly new to this but I have gone out and spent a small fortune on software. Can any of the following applications do this a little easier???
Adobe Encore
Adobe Premiere
Ulead DVD Movie maker 2
Stomp Record Now Max
Pinnacle InstantCopy
DVD X Copy Plat

I also have these others
Alcohol 120%
DVDDecrypter
DVD Shrink
DVD Copyone
DVDR Easy
and a few others

Can any of this stuff do the conversion instead of going through all of that other stuff?? After searching the forum I cant really tell.

considering most things broadcast in PAL are actually just NTSC film speeded up you should be able to just open the file up in TMPGEnc and re-encode.. Tell me if I'm out of my mind here, but this should work, right?
