I'm Confused?!?!?!? Help Please!!!!!

I am creating a vcd for my hitachi dvp-725u using verbatim media.

I am using DVD builder from roxio 6.0.

I am creating different menus for pictures and for movies, and it plays in the dvd but when i try to go to the second menu which is shown in the tv it wont go there and i can only view the first chapter no matter what menu I put first.(I cant navigate the chapters)

Is this a hardware problem or is the program I'm using not doing it's job correctly????

Search this site for answers about vcd chapters. It is really very simple. In all honesty, I burnt vcds for almost a year before I realised how easy the the menus were to create in vcd even with its limits. Take a good breath. Start over and take notes and you will succeed in your endeavour. Good Luck!

I have come to the realization that while my dvd puts amazing picture and even better sound through my stereo It does not really like any cd rom format......

SO to fix that I got a dvd burner and now all is good !!!!!!!!!

LOL ya much less headache !!!!!! And many less cdroms to throw in garbage........ I have all the coasters I need till I die :P
