Anyone know how to make it play them? I have the ASX playlist and the files which it calls all located in the same directory and WMP 6.4 can play it just fine but ask MPC to do the same and it appears to start but there's no video and the scroll bar never moves.

I've noticed that although MPC plays Windows Media 8, & Windows Media 9 just fine, it has trouble with The Microsoft WMV9 VFW version.
After remuxing into Matroska format, the file wouldn't play at all. Muxing WM8, or WM9 to Matroska usually makes them alot easier to deal with.
I'm sure these two problems are related, and i'm waiting for the next version of MPC to come out to see if the problem is cured.
