  1. I have a .mkv file with two audio tracks. When I load it into VirtualDubMod, I'm able to save the video via direct streaming. However, when I try demuxing the audio stream (either of them, but I want the non-default track), nothing happens. It crashed before I updated, and now it doesn't begin to save the track--just sits letting the 'time elapsed' grow and an 'expected time' is never calculated.

Anybody know of a way to demux the audio track? I tried mkv merge GUI as well, and it crashed when I attempted.

  2. Try 'mkvextract' from the mkvtoolnix package. BTW, what audio codec ID does VdubMod show in the stream list for the 2 tracks ? It starts with something like

    'A_xxx/xx'

    Thanks for telling me
