My pioneer ao6 with the latest firmware has never wrote 4x with DVD+/-RW's even though all the discs are rated @ 1x to 4x speed. It always picks up the media as maximum burn speed as 2.4x in nero 6 and other software i have tried. Is this a firmware problem or software or maybe just the media. i have tried Philips and Maxwell media with no sucess, any clues to help solve this would be great as i always authour onto DVD+RW before burening the final projects to +/-R's and i have no problems burning @ 4x with those but the time it takes can be frustrating![]()

It appears that the CPU was operating so fast that it began to execute instructions before they arrived. This execution of future instructions created a small tear in space-time itself through which part of the cpu passed into a parallel universe
