Was wondering if anyone could help me. I tried to backup a DVD yesterday using DVDXCopy platinum, and with both the simple and advanced method, it compresses a 6.11 gig DVD to 2.72 Gigs.. Needless to say, the resulting movie looks absolutely terrible. I tried backing up the same movie using DVDDecryptor, DVD2One and Nero, and the resulting movie came out at 4.36 gigs and looks great..
Now my question is, why is DVDXCopy Platinum creating such a small movie? Is there some setting that I'm missing? I thought it should by default create a movie that is the largest possible size that will fit on a DVD-R (about 4.36 gigs). If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! I've searched the forums for any advice, but it doesn't seem like anyone else has run into this problem. Thanks in advance,
