I'm doing a NTSC dvd project in Maestro 2.915a. The video was shot with a digital cams and my .m2v file is 720x480 @ 29.97 fps. Here's the problem. When i go to compile the dvd, Maestro comes up with this error "Invalid Framerate Error" I know this is a common error, but none of the "tricks" I've used before will work this time. Anyone have any ideas?

  2. You must run 2:3 Pulldown on the m2v to set 23.976fps flags, then import into Maestro.

<--- You can get pulldown.exe and pulldownGUI from the OTHER / Tools section just to the left on this page.

  4. I dont see the point with 3:2 pulldown and 23.976fps ?

Your source is NTSC DV (not a film) so you want to keep its fast motion @ 60 fps. There's must be something wrong in you video, maybe during mpeg2 encoding process ?

btw, I've just tried to compile a NTSC DVD with maestro (i'm used to creat pal dvd only) and it didnt give me any error.

It didn't work with the pulldown file at 23fps, I had to uninstall the Matrox dvd Player and it compiled fine.
