  1. I am trying to burn a movie(predator_dvdrip_xvid.avi) using nero 6.Each time i try it keeps telling me its a unknown or not a valid file format.What do i need to do to be able to burn this movie?

  2. Convert it from XVID to MPEG2 and author it.

    Probably best (and quicker) to use your original disc and just rip that...

    I'm guessing you have ripped the DVD yourself and put the file into XVid format ?

    What are you trying to burn it as ? data disc ? VCD ? DVD ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. Youre not able to burn divx/xvid directly into DVD format by simply burning onto a DVD.. As a previous poster has stated, you must first convert to mpeg/.vobs in order for it to be compatible to play in a standalone DVD player.

  7. Look to the left under convert. There you will find guides to convert your avi to mpeg dvd.
