I am looking for a movie database package that will allow the user to manage his/her movie collection on a variety of different media. (DVD, LaserDisc, VHS, Mpeg, etc...)
I have tried and like the DVD Profiler (sp?) as it allows you to select the movie from a downloaded list of movies and add it to your collection simply by clickling on the title.....
I am looking for something with that capability for DVD's AND the ability to manually add titles from the other media formats such as laserdisc, vhs, and mpeg. (DVD Profiler seems to only allow DVD media as the specified media - and I have a TON of VHS and Laserdisc....)
Does anyone know of one that does this?![]()
Thanks.

Try eXtreme Movie Manager. It should do everything you need. I've had this for a while but I'm much too lazy to catalog all of my stuff. :P

It works fine and you can select the movie type yourself (DVD / VHS / Laserdisc / ...
Check it out !
you can find their link at www.collectorz.com -
I use a simple database program called "My DataBase" and just made up a custom entry form and output form (took me about an hour to do this). The program has been around for years and sells for about $20 (try CompUSA, BestBuy, etc).

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I went and tried these and a couple more that I found on download.com. I think I will be registering me a copy of the collectorz version. It has the ability to add different types of media, as well as a pretty easy entry page. I was able to enter like 50 titles last night pretty quick.
Thanks again.
