Odd files found when cleaning up hard drive

I found some files labeled
~cevts0 2kb
~cevts0 (11) 2.00 GB (2,147,483,648 bytes)
~cevts0 (12) 195 MB (205,291,520 bytes)

Is there a way to find out what this is from? I'm suspecting some video work I did in pinacle studio 8 but it's in the c:/ drive which is strange.

Sorry this answer is not mine, but I did find some info for you. Credit goes to Thanatos[1] on the www.tech-forums.net message boards. He wrote:

"After doing some reaseach , if anybody cares, i have tracked this down. As i didnt find ANY other references to this on the internet, i thought i would share. These are apparently related to Veritas MyCD. Seems they are temp files for disc to disc copy or audio cd compilations."
