    i'm trying to convert some .dat files to svcd. I opened my tar files with isobuster and tried to extract only the mpeg files. i realized that .dat files had actually been extracted. what do i do to convert these dats to svcd mpegs?

    Search PM
    Use VCDGear and do a dat > MPG conversion. You will then need to recode to SVCD format using something like TMPGEnc.
