Hi,
Would like to add video to existing video that is on DVD+RW. Tried to
add with a dvd+rw disc but software wont let me. It forces me to erase
existing video and start from scratch. I would have thought that I
would have no problems doing this. Thanks in advance fo help.

what most dvd burning apps do is to "close" the disk, thus not allowing any further appending. It's part of the DVD standard.
one way around that is to re-author while including both movies - provided that their combined sizes don't exceed your disk capacity. And, if needed, you can rip your burned movie back to your HD for the re-authoring.
