Accounced at Macworld is a beautiful program called Xgrid.
And although it is not meant for ANYTHING near the purposes of this board. I was wondering if somebody wanted to throw some encoding at it, and see what happens. It only takes shell commands right now, but I would love to encode a movie with a little help from screensavers.

How sad that Douglas Adams died so young. He would have loved this! Of course he foresaw Xgrid when he revealed in Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy that the Earth is merely a supercomputer and we are its connected processors. I miss Adams! But at least I have Apple.
