Capturing movies from analog source with VirtualDub and PicVideo codec, converting video to MPEG2 with TEMPGEnc plus and authoring with TEMPGEnc DVD Author. So far I converted audio with TEMPGEnc plus to MPEG1 layer 2 (48 KHZ, of course). I'd rather have the audio in AC3 stereo. How to do it?

  2. Use TMPGEnc's MPEG tools to de-multiplex the video and audio streams from the completed MPG file. Then use FFmpgegui to convert the .mp2 to .ac3. Thats it! Bring the video and audio streams into TMPGEnc DVD Author and go to town.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Take your 48 kHz wav file and convert it to AC3 using BeSweet.
