Hi all. Santa was good to me and I got a new system (my old Duron 650 fried). I couldn't afford to upgrade my capture card to an AIW so I kept my TV Wonder VE. However, since I am now using Windows XP, I could upgrade to MMC 8.8.
I installed and things seem to work (although there are error messages about this EZ Share not working, probably since I don't have an ATI graphics card anymore).
However, when I went to capture from the TV tuner, I went to set my resolution and lo and behold, I am still stuck with the same limitations as in the old MMC 7.2
Is it due to the TV Wonder VE card and MMC? On my old system I switched to PowerVCRII and could capture at higher resolutions (but was limited by my slow CPU which I hoped would now be moot), however PowerVCRII is now giving me audio problems (as in no audio or sporadic audio)
I was forced into buying my new system quicker than I had wanted so the AIW card is on hold for now (unless someone knows of a good card for under $100 canadian)
Thanks for any input.

Unfortunately that is a limitation of your TV Wonder card. I had one and couldn't capture full res video. I recently purchased an AIW 9000 Pro and it was a VERY good purchase. I can now capture full res video and the picture is slightly better as well, due to the Rage Theatre Chip.
