    again if you guys were so smart why didnt you have any answers... you have no idea what I know about computers... I have gone through two computers thats why it took me 4 months ... my last computer was an old pentium 450 which I built myself and loved it.. didnt want to get rid of her.. great computer. i figured this new computer SHOULD be able to do whatever I want easy no problem.. this windows XP crap is stupid.. at least in win 98 i could download drivers ..

    anyways .. im tired of all the smart remarks .. anyone can go from thread to thread and say "oh your stupid you dont know jack about computers" well if your such a computer wiz wy dont you give me some answere... yes I do know more about computers then the avg joe.. Iv had a PC and have learned them since 1992 .. iv built 3 pcs and Iv repaired many many PCs both hardware wise and windows OS wise. im new to the XP crap and the DV crap.. since iv got this "new super fast mega lighting hyper threading" stuff nothing seems to work right... hell my 450mhz computer ran faster and smoother than this one.. and had less problems...

    Two different computers (or was it three) and you can't get the FIREWIRE to work on ANY of them?

    Sorry but that sure sounds like the problem is between the computer and the chair.

    Wow, you've been proficient in computers since 1992?

    That's only 7 years after I compiled my first batch of assembler code on an original Apple II.

    Based on your qualifications, I guess my experience with ASCI Red doesn't mean shit, does it?
