  1. Hi...
Im in a idea proyect for creating my DVD with DVD Lab...
    This is the idea...
I have 2 DVDs , I shrinked both of them ...(of course first i use DVD decript ), then I Re-authored with DVD Shrink one DVD with both movies.....
    ok
Then I need a menu for acceso , in the begining one movie or another.....
I try with DVD Lab, but except for some warnings (about one movie is 4:3 and the other is 16:9) I begin compiling, no problem... but at the end, I only have 3 vobs of 900MB and 6 vobs of 0MB, of course is not the movie...

what Im doing wrong....maybe is the 4:3 16:9 difference?
or maybe , when I load the vobs to the menu creator the space indicate is 4.77GB in color red...

I hope You can help me
    TA

  2. You can't mix ratios with DVDLab Standard - only with the Pro Beta1

Look here for a guide that covers fitting 2 movies onto a DVD, using DVD2One, but I see no reason why you can't use DVDSHrink if you wish

It also covers how to create a simple menu front-end using TMPGenc DVD Author to get access to them both via any DVD player

I'm in the process of updating the guide with snapshots and alternative software, like DVDShrink instead of DVD2One, also adding more tweaking options for the soundtrack

Don't know when the update will be out next 3-4 weeks once I can test everything and make sure the guide does what it says

  4. Actually the process is similary....I use DVD Shrink for create the DVD and in my opnion looks complete (one DVD with 2 movies) , my problem happens with the creation of a propery menu, with DVD LAB ,
    question
after the process of compiling, should I have one "DVD" ready to burn ?
I mean vos, bup , ifo etc....

  5. After try in several times , I want to write this so can help someone else.
    Has I say it before.....

Im making a 2 movies in ONE DVD
    I use
    DVD decrypter
    DVD Shrink
    DVD Lab
    Thanks to maa
    is DVD Lab Pro

Yo Decrypt both movies to HDD, then with DVD Shrink you make a single DVD with both movies, take out what You dont want...or take space...

As my movies ar different (one 4:3 and other 16:9) I have this at the end of the Shrink process
VTS 0_0. IFO (Im not shure about the name correct, but thats the idea)
    VTS_1 .IFO
    VTS_1_1
    VTS_1_2
    VTS_1_3
    VTS_2 .IFO
    VTS_2_1
    VTS_2_2
    VTS_2_3

and of course the BUP and the other file of the DVD structure
Now I need a "menu" for access to one movie or another
thats why DVD Lab (Pro thks "maa")
    Then
After several trys, The Think that work is
Joing the vobs as one single....for some resasons the DVD Lab dosnt reconigze put them one afeter and other ,and linked.

I use Vob meerge to create one DVD for each movie, so

    VTS_1_1
    VTS_1_2
    VTS_1_3

    equal to VTS1.vob

    VTS_2_1
    VTS_2_2
    VTS_2_3

    equal to VTS2.vob

So You create in DVD Lab a VTMG project....
And You follow the steps for crate a DVD with multiple VTS

  7. I have to continue this "guide"

At the end I have 2 movies in one DVD with one manual..

    Problems

I select , since the begin 2 audios in each movie and 1 subtitle for each one too.

The end DVD (2 movies) dosnt allow me select other audio or any subtitle...

Some one can Help me, or have idea what was wrong....
In fact the first Shrink DVD dosnt have it......

  8. Hi again..no ...I read I have to changesomething in the IFO after compile to allow play both audio chanels...

but what about subtiltes.. ? where are they?

  9. The subs are probalby not activated either so have a look at this guide for the IFO information:

    http://www.photosyndikat.de/guides/2COOL/2COOL_MultiAudio_Subs.html
Look at # 17 and compare your IFO.
You're not making subtitle menus so ignore the rest

    cheers
