I recently generated a photo slideshow with 9 albums using Memories on TV for VCD format recorded to CD. Because the quality was not what I wanted, I upgraded my system with a DVD burner (Sony DRU 510A) and with Nero 6.
I also downloaded latest ver. 2.0.10 of Mem on TV and purchased/downloaded the MPEG2 plugin. I have plenty of hard drive space (over 9GB) and 512MB RAM.
Now I can't get the program to generate the same project without crashing the system at about the 4th album.
So far, tech support at Mem on TV has not been able to suggest a solution that works (such as uninstalling and reinstalling everything). Any ideas anybody?
I've even uninstalled the 2.0.10 and the MPEG2 plugin and reinstalled the previous version, trying to duplicate the previous ability to burn to CD and to VCD format. But now cannot do that either.

I wish I could help but I can't. I was never able to get the Mpeg2 plug in to work. They gave me a refund. My first few attempts at the VCD level used to crash around my 30th image while it was creating. All of a sudden, it started working fine. I have no idea why. I am just glad it works because I do like the results although I would have preferred the MPEG2 quality. Good luck!
No, I'm from Iowa. I only work in outer space.
