DVD on Disk to DVD

I have had problems burning an avi (xvid) to a dvd. Used Nero 6, sonic 4.5, and pinnacle studio 8.10. Nero seems to burn it but something happens at the end. I was able to burn it to a disk. But, in Nero , I can seem to find a away to reverse the process. I want to burn the dvd file to a disk, what burning program will do this for me?

Thanks, but had problems with TMPGenc, said it couldn't open the file or that it wasn't supported. But, I used Nero's recode to do the job. Worked fine. I think there was also a problem with the disk I was using, soon as I put in a new disk everything worked fine.
