  1. Hi All:
New to the world of DVDR, I've spent the last few weeks reading and learning from this great site.
    But... I have two questions.
I'm trying to combine clips from different dvd's together on one dvd-r. I'm able to pull the clips off with Shrink, but can't seem to join them. I tried creating a new ifo with ifoedit, but no go. Could someone lead me through this process?
Second problem... I took a copy of Raiders Of The Lost Ark and made a complete backup. I shrunk the file using Shrink and it totalled just over 4.3G. When playing it back, everything works (menus, scene select, etc) but the film starts to freeze toward the end and then stops completely. Should I have used a larger compression to shrink it more? I'm thinking that it has over-filled the disk.
    Thanks in advance.

  2. Try putting the 2 VOB's in the same directory with the 1st clip named VTS_01_001.VOB and the 2nd as VTS_01_002.VOB. Then use IFOEdit to create the IFO files.

    -- or --

Copy the 2 VOB's into the same directory. Use VOB Merge to combine the two into a single VOB. Name the resutling merged VOB VTS_01_001.VOB and save to a different directory. Then use IFOEdit to create the IFO files for the new combined VOB.
