I mainly frameserve in order to add subtitles to non-english films. In the past, I've never noticed any major increase in encoding time, but now a particular Divx file which normally takes approx. 2 hours to encode with Tmpgenc, suddenly balloons to 10+ hours if I frameserve with Vdub. This is a very clean video file and the only filter I'm using is Avery Lee's subtitler in Vdub. Anyone have an explanation as to the sudden increase. Is there a faster subtitle filter I can use in Vdub?
Tx.
