I've searched the forum for the answer and it appears that there isn't one. There is even mention of DTS being "hack-proof". Is this true? Is there truly no way to losslessly capture a DTS track from a DVD and convert it to WAV without re-recording it?
I'm curious because I have a DVD with a DTS track. The DTS track is the *only* one available. There is another PCM stream there for DVD format compliance, but it's completely silent.
Thanks.

Don't know the answer to your question, although I'd like too, but I found this with a Google search,
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=converting+DTS+to+.wav
Some of it points to this website and some for others. Maybe you can find a definitive answer there.
Good luck!
