  1. Hello, when i try and burn some Vid Clips with subtitles, they always are perfect, and i can see them as if i was watching them on my Computer. Now when the DVD-R is done, and i watch it on TV, (any tv, i have 4:3, and 16:9 HDTV) the subtitles are ct in half, and i can only see the top part of them. This is really confusing because it happens on almost any movie i burn that has Subtitles. Honestly, maybe its cutting off all movies i burn, but only notice this on the dvds that have subtitles due to theres actually being a noticable difference? Please, tell me how to fix this, even if it is by a means of getting another program, althought Movie Factory has been great thus far.... Thanks in advance.

  2. You seem to be observing the effect of OVERSCAN.

On NTSC television screens, OVERSCAN crops the edges of the source.

You can read about overscan on the Web page at the following link:

    http://scanline.ca/overscan/

Therefore, one must plan - in advance - for this effect and keep titles within a "title safe" area.

    Hope this helps,
