Where can I find DVD Complete 2.5 Update

I'm having a rather serious problem.
I've been using DVD Complete version 2.5 for some time now and I recently upgraded my PC.
Pinnacles web site is only providing the 2.06 update.
All of my projects are saved in version 2.5 and I cannot open them with 2.06
I paid $100 for this software and I should be entitled to the 2.5 update, especially since I had it at one time and I can't access any of my saved files without it.

Where can I find the 2.5 update? HELP!
Perhaps someone has, or knows where I could find an archived copy of the update file...

Note: Pinnacle has a web page here that supposedly offers the 2.5 update.

The download link for the ESD version only provides the 2.06 update though.
I don't know about the file provided for the SE-B update since I couldn't try it.

Ah, another rumble of discontent from the dazzle/pinnacle caper..

seriously, mebbe one long shot possible - DVDCre8 was/is the outfit that produced DVDC.... Dazzle only peddled it. And DVDC is now being marketed by 321 studios under the name of DVD X Maker.

While I don't think you will get any help from 321, you might from DVDCre8 by shooting them an email - including particulars/vers/etc. of your current copy... and cross your fingers. See their website for email link.

lesson for any reading this - archive copies of any/all downloads of apps/upgrades/utilites and store them on a data dvd/cd. Cheap insurance against mergers, dead HD's, OS gremlins, etc...

Nevermind. I found it.
After a thorough search of my old PC I finally found the original 2.5 update package in an obscure loacation.
I guess I saved it after all, I just misplaced it.
If anyone else needs it you can PM me.

EDIT: Note: This update is for the ESD, NTSC version of DVD Complete.

does anyone have the retail update version of DVD Complete? I really need it...I also upgraded and now I can't find mine....

I have both DVD Complete retail version updates archived. As you know, DVD Complete updating was very picky, so if you don't have the original, boxed version on your machine, these won't work. If you do have the boxed version, I am happy to help and I can be reached at alkanalisa@socal.rr.com.
