  1. I created an mpeg2 file SVCD using tmpgenc (CBR 2000). I then use tmpgenc to cut out some scenes. The resulting mpg2 file played ok with real and media player.

I then use NeoVisionExpress 1.x to author the SVCD. All works well except when I play it on my DVD player, it occasionally puts out blocks of various colors on the screen, very messed up.

I tried to use different media (TDK) and see the same. I then play the SVCD using intervideo WinDVD and media player and see the same problems.

Can I assume that NeoVisionExpress is messing up the mpg2 file during transcoding?

    Thanks

Not necessarily. First, try to burn at a slower speed. Next, change media brands, then, you may also try with another burn program other Ahead. Then you might start looking at your burner, provided it is the only burner you have available.
    Hello.

  3. Did not thought of burning at a slower speed. I did tried different media:
imation (24x) and TDK (48x) with same result. Also, I have burnt before using this burner w/o any problem creating VCD discs.

    Thanks
