Hi
I'd like to know if I can :
1- Watch TV with it, if I use a composite/svideo out system
2- capture mpeg-2/mpge-1 using a software codec (what I understand is that it has Mjpeg hardware capabilities, but what about software capabilities?)
Thanks,

1. yes, you can. It can be watched on the monitor, or output to a tv/vcr, but the capture program must be running (but not nessessarily capturing)
2. I don't know of any. I have, thus far, been able to capture only to AVI. I wish I couldit would save a lot of time.

Thanks,
I have some other doubts:
- Can I capture uncompressed or huff. with DC10?
- I heard that capturing with Mjpeg for later converting to MPEG2 is not good because MJPEG is a loss process. What are your experiences, is MJPEG satisfactory, or should I look for lossless captures(what I think is not possible with DC10).

If you're talking about the MiroVideo DC10:
1-yes
2-no, only hardware mjpeg

DC10, are you referring to Studio DC10+?
If so, you can only capture with the Studio MJPEG codec (hw).
