I used VCDImager Easy. I tried to make chapters, (VCD) everything works great and did even finish creating bin/cue files, but when I tried to burn the bin/cue files Nero (latest version) say that there's no enough space on the cdr (I used 700mb) When I looked at the file info it has two tracks (track 1 - 466 mb and track 2 - 466 mb) no wonder why it didn't fit on a 700mb cdr. I also checked the cue file using text editor it seemed right. Now What have I done wrong? What is the best authoring software that supports chapters and menus but easy to use.
    Thanks

  2. forget about nero; burning bin/cue images directly with nero is one of the worst things you can do...

something that's been suggested sometimes is to use daemon tools to mount the bin/cue as a virtual CDROM drive, and then perform a CD COPY in nero from that drive...

the best software for bin/cue files is cdrwin, you can get a demo at
    http://www.goldenhawk.com/

the demo will only burn at 1x though.

  4. Try CDRDOA, in fact d/load the 'VCDImager Easy + VCDImager + CDRDOA" suite at:

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/VCDImagerEasy_v1.0.1_VCDImager_v0.7.10_CDRDAO_v1.1.5.zip

This will allow you to work with VCDImager Easy then just hit go. Will make bin/cue and burn them.

  5. Why do you want to use another application for burning anyway? VCDImager Easy comes with direct support for CD-writing (CDRDAO) so that you can burn your VCD without ever leaving VCDImager Easy.

The only problem that I've encountered with CDRDAO is that Burn Proof doesn't seem to work properly on my CD-writer (even though the logfile it says that it's turned on), but that might depend on the drivers I'm using.

I forgot to mentioned earlier that I'm using an external burner (ACER CD-RW6x4x24 connected to usb) and the package included with VCDImager Easy wouldn't recognized my burner. Is there any solutions pertaining this matter?
    Thanks.
